W3 PUBLIC RELATIONS was established in 1977 by owner Sharon Weisz, then already an entertainment industry veteran, who felt the need to strike out on her own after seven years in radio and television, and tenure with two major Los Angeles entertainment public relations firms. W3 quickly became a haven for artists and companies involved in the music industry, but the broad range of experience from which the company emerged -- handling campaigns for actors, films, television programs and small businesses as well as music artists -- has allowed the organization to undertake wide-ranging projects.
Over the years, W3 PUBLIC RELATIONS has represented a diverse clientele, including international recording artists, entertainment companies, and special events. The company prides itself on providing the most personalized service possible. There is a total involvement that goes beyond basic publicity with long-range goals considered in planning campaigns. W3 is as concerned with building futures as it is with the events of the moment.
While W3's emphasis has been on entertainment, the company has and continues to represent products, commercial ventures, and non-profit service organizations, incorporating elements of marketing, promotion and sales support and tour coordination in their overall public relations efforts. Weisz also spearheaded the recording and release of the Hear 'N Aid USA for Africa's famine relief efforts. She has also integrated her love of photography into her public relations work.
W3 is an established company with a fresh approach.
